If you’ve been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel. We’ve been the leading innovator in the promotional apparel industry since 1977, and we are looking to add a Sales Business Analyst to our award-winning team.

Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, this position provides reporting analytics for the company, conduct market analyses for both product lines and overall profitability of the business and prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts. In addition, the position will develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data are reporting needs are met. Strong finance, auditing, excel, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits.

The Sales Business Analyst skillset should include:

• Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions.
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Planning and monitoring
• Financial modeling
• Variance analysis
• Pricing
• Reporting
• Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.

The end goal is to provide financial insights that help the decision-making process, and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget. The Business Analyst should also drive fresh initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems.

The candidate should possess the following skills or meet the following criteria:

• A deep understanding Microsoft Excel, pivot tables and data manipulation.
• Great overall research and analytics skills
• The ability to communicate in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
• A high level of intellectual curiosity and willing to ask questions and seek information as needed to complete projects and tasks.
• The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• A high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong financial, analytics or accounting training
• High Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
